Superior Axle and Gear Evolution Series Rear Axle Kits
anyone have any comments on these axle shafts? GM no longer makes axle shafts for our cars and i dont really want to go to a junkyard so im considering these. They come with bearings, seals, and wheel studs. do the axles come with the wheel studs pressed in already? do they seem overpriced?

They are excellent.
Better than Moser; because the Moser ones, like ALL "custom" axles, are soft enough to spline. The Superior ones, on the other hand, are hardened AFTER the splines are cut/rolled. The "custom" axle mfrs can't do this and meet their delivery promise, because it would add at least a week to their turn-around time.
So, for a STOCK application like the ones covered by the Superior product line, they are the ones to get. Save the "custom" axles for "custom" applications; and pay extra and tolerate the longer lead time, to get them re-hardened.
I have a set of the Superiors myself (EV10-4).

The Superior ones do come with all those parts.
The studs are loose though; you have to put them in yourself. Not like that's real hard or anything.

The Superior shafts are the best thing going right now. I've got a full set of fronts in my Blazer (inners and outers), and trust me that's not that expensive. My front shafts are custom made with 30-spline inner shafts so I could use a 30 spline differential instead of the stock, which is only 28 in an 8.5" 10-bolt front rear. The outers are stock, and connected to the inners with CTM u-joints. The CTMs are guaranteed never to break, and the axelshafts are guaranteed never to break. The package cost around $1,220. Once you get into serious 4-wheeling car parts just don't seem that expensive anymore...
I guess it could be worse, I could own a boat!

im thinking about getting moser axles because i dont have 2 weeks to wait... right now im driving my dads POS cheap wrangler with the oil pan so rusted oil is seeping through and a gas leak somewhere, the air doors for the defrost are messed up and dont work, needs a new clutch, exhaust manifold leak, everything is rusted...and its a 97 too. its driving me nuts, i havent driven the camaro since january 2nd lol
as long as moser axles are just as strong as the stock ones thats all i care about. i dont plan on putting much power to this car
