Torque converter has arrived!!!

came home today and was greeted by the great brown truck as i pulled in. So i got my edge racing 9.5" 3200 stall with a 2.25 STR(stall torque ratio). I know its gonna be a night and day difference compared to that ***** of an 11" 2200stall in the tranny now...don't know what i was thinking. I bet i can get it to stall around 3600rpms with 643RWTQ.

I hope that big brown truck greets me in the next few days. My Edge is due any time now.

Was that advertised stall,(2600)? If so what the actual launch RPMs? Reason being as I just got my own 2200 stall. I also know what you run in terms of HP. Now I'm wondering if I should go back to my stock T.Q. which is rated at a 1397 stall.

UPS tracking confirms mine will be here on Mar 1st. I talked with Andre, and we came up with a "Street Edge" series 3400-3600 stall. Man I cant wait till its here. It will be installed right away!! I've heard only good things from Orr, and other people who have them. I would like to gain about two tenths, with it.

Just curious, where do you buy an Edge Racing torque converter?

From Edge Racing Converters. Do a Google search, and on their site, you can fill out an application form. Then they'll email you back, with a recommendation, and you can call them, if you have questions.

I found their address, if you want to email them without the order form.

I had noticed that Pro-Built had started selling these. I had wondered about them since I had never heard of the brand. Now I know about the manufacturer.

I guess the Edge converters are a cheaper alternative to a Vigilante.
