what specs do you want? 65 ft/lbs, 25 in/lbs, .008, 2.238", 3:42, or 56". there's lot of specs. not you don't need to change the MC.

things to know... get a v8 one and its going to be 2 inches wider. bolts right up and you might need a prop valve if you dont have disc brakes already. gear specs will depend on what its out of.

All Z28's and TA's had posi.

All 6 speed cars were 3.42 rears, auto's were 3.23 with G92 and 2.73 w/o G92

All 4th gen rears are the same length.

The only true way to know posi and gear ratios is to take the cover off, look for the posi, and count the teeth. I read the 1997 and later models were a tad shorter in length, but not sure. Only need to swap the proportioning valve to use the rear discs effeciently.

yea i know thats what i was saying . i just made a run on sentence and worded it weird. LOL

I meant to say just get a v8 4th gen rear from a v8 and it will be fine. However they are 2 inches wider than our stock thirdgen rears. They bolt in without any modification except maybe the brake lines and e-cables. Since torsens never need rebuilding it should be good to go!
