82 z28 th350 to 700r4?
i plan on changing my th350 over to a 700r4 soon i was wondering is there enough room to make crossmember for true duals and all i really need is to lengthen the 700r4 member to make it work correct and get a 700r4 drive shaft? any help would be great and if anyone has pics of someone that has a 700r4 in an 82 taht would be awesome thanks

It doesnt really matter what tranny or crossmember is in there, true duals dont tuck in very well unless their run in the stock location...

yea i know they dont but it will be better than my current setup and i have longtube headers so the stock location is out of the question
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, "true duals aren't worth the work."
- Even with LT's, run a custom y-pipe(or Mufflex) and a good 3" or better cat-back. There is zero power difference from single to duals, so why go through all the work to have less gound clearance and a different sound?
- From 350 to 700 the ds may work. The 700 is slightly longer, but probably not enough so that the factory yoke travel would be used up. - The crossmember may work, but if not a j/y piece should be really cheap.

Nothing sounds as good as a set of duals though...
Sure a good y-pipe setup sounds good but i dont think you will ever get the sound you can with full duals!

Third gens never came with a TH350. The early third gens with an A3 have a 200c in them not a TH350.
