World Class 5spd V8 input shaft diameter?
Does anyone know the diameter of the V8 WC T5 input shaft? I've been searching for 2 days but because you can't search down to 2 characters I've been screwed.
My buddy has my V8 trans and there's currently a WC V6 in my car and I'm trying to figure out if a NASCAR take-out triple disc will work.
Thanks.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Doesn't matter if it's "WC" or not.
A V8 T-5 clutch gear is 1-1/8" 26 spline; same as the old upgraded 4-speeds such as M-22 and "Super" T-10.
The 6-cylinder one is 1-1/16" (I think...) and 14 splines. Smaller by enough that it will spin freely inside a V8 clutch disc.

Doh, ok.
All the NASCAR stuff is for a 1 5/32" shaft. I guess I'll have to keep looking around.
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you can get those triple disc (7.25 inch?) discs for all the popular input sizes. When I was looking on ebay i saw 1 1/8 10 spline and 26 spline, plus the 1 1/16 10 spline ford stuff and 23 spline mopar stuff.
