82 with LG4 and 200c 2.73 or 3.23

ok i found this thread just now by accident and blyth18md has the identical drivetrain as mine and many others' here 82's do, his got 3.23 ratio
mine got 2.73 garbage

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/prob...info-main.html

on TGO's spec pages it shows that the LG4 cars in 82 all got the 2.73 axle

and says nothing about any optional ratios

i am confused ?

did someone special order blyth's 82 to be 3.23 specifically, or what ?

very curious to learn here

please elaborate if possible

thanks

what was original drivetrain ?

another funny one is the 82 z-28 i just parted it was an LG4 4 speed manual car and it was 3.42

so what the heck is going on

they really must not have thought that mine needed a decent axle ratio, for some odd reason

hum

thanks

that's original drivetrain. Had an LG4 if that's what you meant.

maybe.

Where was reverse, top left, or bottom left?
is the case aluminum, or iron.

If it was top left, and aluminum, you have yourself a highly desireable superT10 trans, hold on to that baby.

If not, just a POS saginaw, dump it in your local pile.
