There is a code to find out what the car came with. That will not help you if it has been changed tho. Pulling the cover is the only way to tell unless you know the cars complete history.

Well, if You tell us what engine and and transmission you have. We can help figure out Your gear ratio. Then if You bring it up to cruising speed and tell us what your rpm's and speed are around 70 mph with Your engine+ trans combo,,, We can probably pinpoint Ur curiosity with a nail to the head!

Well in that case... You either have a 3.23 ratio or a 3.42 ratio, if You have the G92 option. Check Your rpo codes.

U can also check the back of the axle housing (if it aint too rusty) There should be a little metal stamp piece that lists the ratio. if not, jack up the rear tires while in neutral and give em one complete spin. count the revolutions of the driveshaft. if it spins roughly 3.25 quarter times per one complete tire revolution. You have a 3.23. If it spins a little less than 3 and a half times... U have 3.42's. Use a piece of chalk to mark and measure the exact amount of spins. Good luck, and tell us what U find!

If you have a 4.11 gear... Ur driveshaft will spin exactly 4.11 times for every complete tire rotation.

Im assuming U have 3.23's... Look for roughly 3.25 turns in the driveshaft. Anybody wanna bet on this? LOL!!!
