Yeah, I don't think it would be that easy. Then again the way it looks, it dont look that hard to do.I was wondering If anyone has done it before? I just want to be sure before a try to do this and maybe mess up the drum rear???

The backing plates are different for the 9 & 10 bolt calipers.

Yes, I noticed that, I think I would have to unbolt and use the back plate off the 9 bolt and try to bolt it on the 10 bolt?

The backing plates are different on 9 bolts and 10 bolts, but that doesn't matter much since the drum rears have completely different axle flanges anyway. You could figure out a way to drill the drum rear to mount the 9 bolt plates.

Yes, It seems like the axle flanges is the only thing that needs to be Modified on the 10 bolt. IT about 4 inches longer then the disc setup flange. I would have to cut it to the size of the disc flange,Then make the bottom hole bigger with 2 new top holes.
How does that sound? Any other info to reinsure me would be great!

I assume you could drill holes for whatever backing plate you wish.

I ran into a couple of problems. I cant seem to figure out how to get the axle shafts out of the 9 bolt.i cant get to the backing plates off ? The 10 bolt was no problem. The other problem is the axle from the drums where the stud come out are bigger in diameter then the axles from the disc. I cant get the rotor to fit over the drum axles. Do I need to buy rotors for a 10 bolt disc to fit over these drum axles, or should I try to mod them to fit?

Help!

Drum axles have larger flanges than disc axles, discs don't always fit right over them.
