Axle/Gears: Ford 9" 4.11 gears w/ locker
82 t/a with aluminum driveshaft?

did the 82 trans ams with the ws6 package have an aluminum driveshaft?

nope

the aluminm shafts were too short for the 82 and 83 cars
the aluminum was a later years deal


what trans is in it ?

if t5 or 700r4 then its not factory even more so

Nope!! They came out in 84 I think.

My 1983 T/A with the T-5 has a 98-02 AL d/s, and it bolted right in.
The 82s were the only year with the different length d/s.
