This thread https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tran...tion-need.html says that there should already be an unconnected purple and yellow connector for the clutch safety switch where my pre-existing pedals are. I'm not finding this connector. Where is it located? If I can't find it will I just have to route the wires that came off the auto shifter to the clutch pedal?

Re: T56 swap need help with clutch pedal
my 86 had the extra wires, purple and yellow with a connector on the end, it was hanging on the right side of the pedals, it might be tucked up in the dash a little. There is apparently a patch cable that connects the pedals to the harness, though ive never found one.

I found mine behind the drivers kick panel. AFAIK every car came with one even if it was an auto.

Re: T56 swap need help with clutch pedal
I still haven't found it, i'm going to do a thorough search tomorrow. On the connector that came off my shifter the two thick wires are green with a white stripe and purple. Will the wires for the harness that's supposedly on the drivers side be the same colors? Also the switch I have on my clutch pedal splits into two different pigtails both with the same color wiring. Anyone know what's up with that?
