Need Help Fast!!!!
OK i put a Zoom High Performance clutch kit in my car today and everything went smoothly until i start the car and try to shift it into a gear... well the trans was in neutral when i took it out and now i can't even get the shifter to move at all no side to side or up and down its just stuck in one position and its in neutral still cause the car rolls back and forth.. what could cause this and what can i do to fix it? i took a pic of a bolt on the outside driverside that was loosened and then tightened back up by my buddy cause he thought it was the fill plug would that cause any of it ? any help is apreciated

Re: Need Help Fast!!!!
1. Which way did you put the throwout bearing onto the fork?

2. The "bolt" is actually the pivot shaft for the linkage that works 5th & reverse. The linkage is held on by a clip. By unscrewing the bolt, the clip was forced off the end of the "bolt", which allowed the linkage to fall apart. The clip and linkage are now laying in the bottom of the transmission. It needs to be pulled out of the car and the cover removed, and the linkage reassembled, before it will work again.
