where can i get good axles cheap?

What's more important; good, or cheep? (In other words, do you want your car to work, or do you want to complain about the cost?)

If you want to keep the 26-spline crap, there's no "good" ones that I know of, only junk stock ones, without paying custom axle price.

I'm going with the Superior axles and upgrading to 28 splines when I eventually do my rear end.
