Transmission: TH200
Question about transmissions and bellhousings!

My question is on the 1986 2.8 ltr V6 engines...for the 5spd's what was the tranny that was used??

Oh ok what i was hoping for, now to take a T5 out of a 86 V6 and throw it onto a 350ci V8, what do i neeed to change so it can bolt on??

A search will turn up the answers, but that wouldn't be a great idea. The V6 T5 is much weaker than the already weak V8 T5.

hmm i see i see....so what other tranny would you suggest for the 350?? its a performance 350 pushin out around 300hp...

A T5 or T56 would be the easiest to put in.

well keep in mind...ill prolly never ever track my car....nor race it on the streeet.....would it be safe to say that a V8 T5 would be fine on it?

If you don't beat on it, a T5 could last a long time.
