Hi I just wonder what tranny and rear fluid for my 1992 pontiac firebird automatic, what brand is good and do i need rear addic bottle for my rear ? btw what tranny do i have and rear do i have ? thanks

dextron 3 or higher for the trans. Its a 700r4

gl4 or gl5 80w-90 for the diff.

You only have to use an additive if you have a posi. It doesnt have to be gm posi additive. It can be from a parts store.

I just want to make sure that I have 700r4, because im doing 305 v8 carb swap in a few week.

That gear shiter linkage looks like a straight shot for a 700r4. If it's stock, that's most definitely what you've got.
