tci tourque converter lock up kit how to use

ok it's all installed and put in, with two switches just like the directions say to do
switch 1= tourque converter lock up only 4th gear

switch 2= tourque converter lock up 2nd 3rd and 4th

which set up do i want, idk anything about trannys

As long as it's locking up in 4th, and you don't mind how it feels to drive, then you're ok. If you've got a high stall on your converter, you might want something more sophisticated than that kit to make it feel right.

i have it wired to 2 switches

idk man my friend dj, an ase certified mechanic put it in and said those were my options

Ok, use either switch you want then, as long as the converter is locked in 4th.

exactly. but do i want it locked all the time, or just through 2nd 3rd and 4th

The torque converter can't lock in 1st, regardless of anything you do with the wiring. Try it locking up in 2nd and up, and try it locking only in 4th to see with you prefer. You'll probably decide to lock it up only in 4th.
