Ive got an 89 iroc-z with 350 tpi, 700-R4, and the borg warner rear end that had original 2.77 gears. The guy I bought it from said it had 3.42's now. Is that possible since its such an obscure rear end. Isn't it more likely the 3.45's that came with some camaros. Also has anyone made this swap and knows what speedometer gears to use to correct the speedo.

 

Count the bolts on the differential cover, to see if maybe the guy swapped it with a 10-bolt. If it has 9 bolts, its a 9-bolt, and 10 bolts, its a 10-bolt rear end. Easy huh?
