Exactly the same... the wheels stick out 1 inch more to the sides. That's it.

Damn dude....that the baddest ****ing engine I've ever seen. I want to keep my stock IROC rims, how do ya think it'll look? Will it look all like a MEXIROC?

It'll look like a MEXIROC.

The 4th gen rear is a couple inches wider. When I did mine the tires would have hit the quarters without some assistance from a set of airshocks. Some people go for that look; I don't.

If you have 15" wheels I bet you can get away with leaving the wheels alone. I doubt it with the 16's.

I don't have a pic but I ran IROC wheels with a 4th gen rear while I was waiting on my ZR-1 wheels. They didn't stick out or rub the fender but they were noticably out further. Just call it a widetrack IROC.

Don't go with a 4th Gen rear. If you have a 9bolt stay with it. 4th Gen rear are built like butter. They are horrible and can't take any punishment. You'll blow it just by taking out of the driveway.

what the hell? OK...keep the 9 bolt. Kinda hard to do when the axles are twisted (one's snapped) and the gears in it are sheared (yes, completely) looks to me like the 9 bolts are butter. So will ZR-1 wheels correct the offset problem? And just how much might a guy expect to pay for em?

You should be able to use stock IROC wheels with a 4th gen rear, just get your self a pair of IROC wheels that were designed to go in the front of the car and use 'em in back, the spacing of the front wheels weren't as large as the rear ones in the thirdgens.

THE 1990 ADN NEWER REARENDS CAME WITH 28 SPLINES INSTEAD OF 26 AS WITH THE BW REAREND. AND THE PUNY 9 BOLTS COULDNT HOLD THE POWER OF MY LITTLE 4CYL S10 DAILY DRIVER. THEY SUCK ***. BUT GO WITH THE ZR1 WHEELS AND PAY 599-699 FOR SILVER ONES.. AND 1099 FOR CHROME .. LOOK THROUGH ALL CHEVY MAGAZINES THEY ADVERTISE THESE FOR THOSE PRICES AND THEY LOOK BAD ***..
