i have done some searching and haven't found anything.. so here is my question: does anyone have a pic of how the shift linkage hooks up to the trans? also i would like a pic of what the correct tailshaft housing looks like that has the provisions for the torque arm. i have a 1987 iroc that was missing the trans and upon installing my new one i ran into these problems.. and since this is my first 3rd gen i really don't have anthing to go by.. i want it to right.

any help would be greatly appeciated.

 

anyone?? i am sure that i am missing a few pieces so i am really needing a picture. once i can see how it's all supposed to be i can have it running in no time.

 

You can come by and look at my car if you want. Which third gen are you? the black rs with painted 91-92 rims that parks at colgan? the blue rs with the personalized plate? I was having that same issue looking for a spare tranny, and learned that all you need is the tailshaft housing from an f-body to make it fit properly.

i have a primered 87 iroc that hasn't been out of my garage since i purchased it several months ago. the guy i bought it from pulled the trans and then parked it under a shed for two years.
