I have a 88 Iroc 9 bolt posi rear with leaky seals. Wanted to change myself but can't figure out how to get it apart. Can someone give me instruction?

Take off wheels, take off brake calipers, take off rotors.... Stick a ratchet through the hole in the axle flange. Spin it to get all 4 bolts on each side. Pull the axle out. Might need a slide hammer but I didn't. Might also need a rotor puller (i did) before you put the rotor back on make sure to anti-seize the inside where it sits on the axle flange... it's worth it. I broke my puller and didn't budge the rotor! Needed to borrow torches!

The seals arnt too bad. Put a thin film of silicone on the outside before you drive em in.

9-bolts dont have c-clips, only 10-bolts do. Another reason why 9-bolts are stronger.
