Transmission: Jasper 700R4 4 speed Automatic
Axle/Gears: 3.23 limited slip/posi
700R4 shift lock / ignition lock cable
hi i have a 1983 trans am with 700R4
i am trying to swap the stock t-handle shifter for a camaro round shifter
What kind of shift lock / ignition lock cables would it have 2 round ones or 1 round and 1 square?

Would a 1983 pontiac trans am with a 700R4 transmission have 2 round or 1 round and 1 square shift lock/ignition lock cables

no i just want the camaro round shifter assembly, the 82 T/A **** is incompatible with the 83 T/A t handle 700R4 shifter (requires cutting and duct tape) compatible with the 83-86 camaro shifter

It has 1 lock cable and 1 shifter cable. AFAIK there are no differences between years and models in either cable.
