Re: t5

Requires a different bell housing and maybe input shaft. I'm pretty sure it's in the sticky at the top of this forum

Re: t5

Yes it's in the sticky "The T5 offered in V6 engines has a different bellhousing to match the V6, as well as a 10 spline input shaft, compared to the V8's 27 spline input shaft. The V6 T5 also has different gear ratios."

Re: t5

It can and has been done quite easily as long as it's a third gen 82-92 v6 trans with 14 spline input.

What you need:

V8 Bell housing
V8 pressure plate for 10.5" clutch
standard pilot bushing/bearing
standard fork
regular linkage or hydraulic setup
1" 14spline 10.5" clutch disc

The clutch disc can be ordered from www.advanceadapters.com PN#716104. on the left side of the page click clutch components and then clutch discs. Once the clutch discs page loads it's on page 2 second last part. $120.75

Re: t5

Speedway Motors sells a 10.5" 1"x14 spline clutch disc for $69.99, PN#910-15649
I've used them in this car when it had a pre-'92 6cyl T5.. http://members.tripod.com/~grannys/GSSshopmule.html

Re: t5

Not sure if the v6 fork or pilot are the same. I already had all of the v8 stuff and didn't have the v6 stuff so I can't honestly say. As Granny said above....there are other sources for the clutch I just posted the one that I know of. I have heard something about a jeep clutch working also but , again can't say for sure because I haven't done it.
