Hey Ed Maher about Zeo's post, Im curious?

I know the tq lockup can be done without purchasing the kit, but I never bothered to figure out how to do it.
Although I no longer have any transmitions with the lockup anymore 350&400 I still would like to know how to do it. Do you just hook the two wires "2 wires on the 200c" to a switch with 12v? Or do you need a certain amount of voltage?
Thanks

Supply 12V to one of the wires, I belive the A wire, and ground one of the others... I don;t recall wich one.

But thats all you need to do, there are 4 wires 2 of wich arent used.

Thanks Bort, The only reason I posted to Ed is because he usualy answers questions like this an every one else passes them by.
Besides Zeo must have had a reason to ask the carb moderator about this so I went with his judgement.
Thanks for the reply though.

Oh yeah, SS, the TCC solenoid gets 12V and a ground. If you havne't hacked the entire harness out there is no reason why you can't follow the tech article to make it lock. Stock it gets 12V from a switch on the brake pedal (opens when depressed, normally closed) and ground from the ECM, with ALDL 'F' in parallel, so you ground F and it is locked, even if your computer lives in canada under an assumed name now.
