? about transcooler installation (700r4)

Axle/Gears: 3.42
? about transcooler installation (700r4)

does trans fluid enter the rad from bottom line or the top! I was informed by a couple of ppl that it enters from the top yet other ppl said it enters from the bottom just like your cooling system who's right?

Makes more sense to me that it enters from the top and flows downward. Now that you mention it, I'm not sure though. I can't remember which way I gone and done it...

undo your top line, put a drain pan underneath andfire the car up for a sec. If the fluidcomes out of the rad, the lower line is the inlet. If it comes out the top line, well that kinda answers itself

Actually did it the other way...Undid the bottom line and had cooler hooked up but left bottom cooler line off to pump 3qts out only to pump it out of the bottom line onto the strt. Called Pro Built and they confirmed 700r4's inlet bottom return top.
