Borg Warnner T5 Question

My car when to the shop about a month ago to replace the tranny cross member mount. I've been driving around with it for a monthe now, and even the first day I got it fixed I said to myself, the clutch feels funny. So hears what happened. The car was up on a lift the other day for an Exhaust estiment so that gave me a good chance to check out the tranny. What I saw when i was under the car is the tranny was turned sideway at about a 1 O'Clock and the tail end of the tranny was shifted to the left and it looked to be that the u-joints of the drive shaft are hitting the bottom of the floor pan. Is right? How can i fix it what can I do? PLEASE HELP.

Robert

P.S. I've also have had trouble shifting into reverse from a stop.

Have your passenger side motor mount checked. It sounds like it had worn or broken. That one compresses under engine torque. When I had my headers installed it was pointed out to me that it had collapsed a little. We put a 3/16" rubber spacer in mine to restore the engine to level.

I checked my motor mounts out and they are fine. The tranny just might be turned that way because it is a 2.8 V6 with a light duty T5.

All t5's sit in the car at an angle.. The slave cylinder wouldnt clear the trans tunnel if it sat straight in there, Kevin
