Help, i've got a problem w/ my T5

Well, i accelarated pretty hard as usual, and after that, every time i accelerate the shifter moves up. It literally moves up a few inches in my hand when i step on the gas pedal quite a bit, and it feels like if i step on it some more, its gonna slip out of the tranny. I have recently ordered a dual centerforce clutch so i'll be taking it apart next week, but does this problem sound like it needs immediate attention? Could it be the cause of a worn out clutch? Thanks for any help

Sounds like maybe you've got a bad tranny mount. That would let the tranny move and you could feel it as the shifter moving. I'd crawl under there and check it out.

Yup, broken trans mount, just like every other one of these cars...

Get an Energy Suspension one. Don't waste your time and money on another stock one that's going to do the same thing again.
