will a shift kit hurt my 115,000 mile tranny?
after an hour of research I found that i want the transgo kit.
I didn't find anything good about the shift kit hurting a higher mileage tranny, sorry if this question is asked a lot.

The only real problem I see with higher mileage is the condition of the Input Sprag since it is a true wear item. As far as the rest of the tranny goes it is simply a matter of function. Regardless of the quality of the shift, if once IN each gear the tranny HOLDS, then the TransGo Shift Kit will actually help, not hurt the tranny. ALso the oil must be relatively clean, maybe not pure red but it can't look like Texas crude or have shrapnel in the pan!
