2004R

Hi, I was wondering who builds a very nice and strong 2004R. I am having problems with one from another company right now, and when it is settled, I will be in the market again. It will be going behind a modified 355 TPI and it will need a mild converter. I want a tranny that I can put in and forget about. Thoughts?

Some day this car will run right, and when it does.... well, I'm not sure it ever will

Check out Yank at www.converter.cc .... I know one of their customers personally that ran a 98 Z28 and did a six speed conversion to a '4L70' which is Yank's name for a race-prepped TH2004R. His car ran easy 10 second ETs..... They also make a regualer TH2004R that isn't made to bolt up to an LS1.....
