700R4 install how hard is it?
I am about to buy a transmission from this guy and want to know how hard it is to install it or should i take it to a shop

If you have a good tranny jack and taller jackstands its not too bad. Hardest part is getting at the bellhousing bolts I think.

yep, bellhousing bolts are the hardest. That and moving the tranny around.

This guy is gonna sell me one for $400 it has been rebuilt by summit 500 miles ago is it worth buying it or no

Stock used tranny's go for like $350 used, so a rebuilt one fore $400 is a good deal.

I am gonna take he said its a TCI with a 2000stall is there any special adjustments i have to do when its in the car i am gonna go get the tranny tommorow

Ok so can i ask once i install it in my car how to adjust it because i heard if you dont do it right you will need a new tranny

as long as nothign happened to it with in that year it should be fine..i dont see why it should damage just by sitting a year

The truth i have not have time during the weekdays i go to school till 6:30pm and in the weekends i work until 8pm so i have not have any time its just waiting in the garage. My plans were during labor day but i left to san diego.
