What hole do you enlarge to get more oil pressure to the 4th gear servo to get a firmer shift?

For one, you block the accumulator feed to the 3-4 accumulator. That will firm up the shift and increase fluid. The transgo kit comes w/ and appropriate plug, but in a bind a checkball will work. Just knock it in place and "stake" it so it doesn't pop out.

If you need the instructions on this, I can fax them to you if you want? Let me know?

I have allready done that just like it said in the Transgo kit instructions, but I want to firm it up alittle more.<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by GMTech:

Oh well, guess not, too bad.
If you have done what Trans-Go said to do (block the feed hole in the case and drill the hole in the plate to .187-.204, & .500 main boost valve) then that is it. Now if you still want a firmer 4th then you will need to order the large 4th apply piston assembly from Sonnax. That will firm it up even more. I have several high 10 & low 11 second vehicles using the Trans-Go setup only with no problems for 4th gear.

I'm asking the moderators to ban this guy before he pisses off more contributors with his attitude.
Without GMTech, transfixleo, and several others the value of this forum is pretty much nil.
86_Dan_Z28 having posted absolutely nothing of value or helped anyone shows up and demands service, and throws insults when he doesn't get it. Buuuh byyyye.

WTF is your problem? I asked a question and the only one that gave me an answer is probuilt. Is he the only mature person here? You need to take your smartass remarks over to www.nethirdgen.org<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by kevinc:

Funny, I was about to say the same thing to you.<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by 86_Dan_Z28:

No one PAYS US to do this, we do it in our free time "AS AVAILABLE". We have lives, families, personal committments, etc and with the Christmas Season upon us, many of us are doing other things. When we have free time, we search the Board and post appropriately.
You got you nose all bent out of joint because NO ONE came JUMPING to your post as quickly as we could and started throwing insults out. Yeah, I've read you other posts too.
Sometimes you have to be a little patient. Also, sometimes a polite e-mail to one of the more knowledgeable members MAY get results. I get TONS of e-mails, and I cannot respond to each and everyone of them as quickly as some would like. Sometimes they have such an obscure question that I have to recommend they talk to someone else.
While some people MAY be very knowledgeable in some areas, few of us are "experts" on EVERYTHING. In fact, the vast majority of us are "just enthusiasts" who've come across a similar problem before and offering a suggesting (which may or may not be the fix).
Remember, we are just "guys" who happen to share a common hobby. All of us have other jobs and personal committments that make it impossible to "post" 24 hours a day.
Did you even try the "search function"? When I have a problem, that is the FIRST thing I do to find out what others had to say about fixing the problem. After that, I may send a polite e-mail to someone that I think MAY be able to help me. Sometimes their advice is correct and sometimes it's incorrect, especially when it could be a number of possible reasons why something is not working properly.
Just exercise a little patience and curb the attitude. You won't make many friends that way, and probably get LESS help in the future from others. Many of us are "internet friends" behind the scenes and talk on a fairly frequent basis.
I personally am offended what you said to Bernard (GMTech). There was just no need for that. Bernard has a LOT of other things happening in his life and while I WISH Bernard would post more often, I realize it is not possible. There is only so much time in a day. He will be sadly missed and I hope Bernard reconsiders.
