Driveshaft Question
http://boston.craigslist.org/sob/pts/1387855005.html
I know this guy says it doesn't fit a camaro. I don't know what year car he tried to put it in, but I am not aware of many other rwd chevy aluminum driveshaft. Does anyone know if these measurements actually might be correct for a thirdgen? If so I was going to go check it out.
Thanks

Re: Driveshaft Question
the camaro is too short for the driveshaft. You can get the driveshaft shortened, but then you're out more money. May as well just get a 4th gen driveshaft.

Re: Driveshaft Question
by the way, if that driveshaft is more than 3.5" diameter, you'll never get it to clear the torque arm. 3.5" is really pushing it.

Re: Driveshaft Question
Sounds like it would be out of a 1990s shortbed pickup truck. My brothers 2wd had a similar aluminium driveshft his was long bed though, i assume that the shortbed one is about that length.

Re: Driveshaft Question
Thanks, I'm hoping to get one of the ls1 driveshafts as I have heard they are the best. I just do not know how to identify one unless it is in the car. I always feel like junkyards try to pull one over on you.
