Leaky rear output seal with 9" housing ext

I had my th350 built with a 9" housing extension so that I could use the stock driveshaft and rear end for a little while. I have maybe 200 miles on it and it leaks bad. There is a bit of slop in the output shaft too and I can see a gap between the seal and shaft. I launch and drive the car pretty hard. I'm worried that there may be too much stress on the end of the tailshaft due to its length. I'd like to run some nitrous out of the hole. If its not smart to run a long tailshaft with 700hp, I'm going to put it in my truck.

Output shaft bushing is probably worn out. Length of the shaft isn't a problem.

Ok. I'm using the tail housing off the old 700. The bushing is in the tail housing right? Thanks.
