Transmission: Built 4L60E with 4k stall
Axle/Gears: 4th gen w/ 3.42 gears
TPI w/ th350
I know this has been talked about a lot and I have read through several threads about the subject. But all I find is that it wont work. I was curious as to why the 700r4 detent/kickdown cable wont work on the th350?
My car already cam with th350 installed so I don't have one for comparison.

I have already read through those... all they say is it won't work but nobody says why, I'm not asking for part nos that MIGHTwork I already have that info and tried a couple and they didn't work.

You read the whole way through? There are two guys saying they got a couple different ones to work.

All I want to know is what about the factory 700r4 cable makes it unsable on the 700r4?

Yes I have, I tried the fitzal one and another my friend had laying around the shop no idea what it was. Well since your not going to answer my question and interrigate me about the subject... Which one do you pose I use?

I have a universal TCI cable and it worked on a K5 Blazer with TPI and a TH350. I have since swapped to a 700R4 and I no longer need it, if your interested in it let me know.
