Transmission: 4L60E
Axle/Gears: 3.23 posi
HELP! rebuilt 700r4 pressere check numbers inside
gear- press@idle w/tv - press@idle w/o tv - press@hi idle full tv
(Park)- 75 - 125- 110
(reverse)- 120 -200 - 175
(neut) -75 -125 -110
(OD) - 75 -125 - 110
(3) -75 - 125 -125
(2) -175 -175 - 175
(1) - 110- 110 -150
here is my problem so far, 1-2 shift is about right. engine rpm flares a bit between 2-3 and i think 4th is ok, been scared to drive it far enough to really find out. and suggestions from any pros? thanks -art

i guess ill just start throwing parts at it? corvette servo is on the way.

Pressures are a little on the low side, in my experience 2-3 flare is usually from worn 3-4 clutches.

Well in that case, could be cut or damaged lip seals on the piston, maybe a bad sealing ring on the input shaft. Could also be some garbage in the valve body, the valves are very sensitive to dirt and can get stuck.
Did you build the transmission or a shop?

the trans was built and dynoed at the local college.but this was 3 years ago. never been installed till now.

i ordered and installed a corvette servo. installed in about 30 mins. now the problem is gone? now it shifts really well.
