Where to buy speedo gears?
Alright I've searched and searched and called many places but I cannot find a place to get the 40/15 gear combo for my speedo on my 92 z28. If anyone could help me I would be very thankful.

Re: Where to buy speedo gears?
I tried for months to find the right gears, finally gave up and got the "Ratio Adapter" from the transmission center link above. Not sure if it will work on a non-cable driven car, but I could not be happier. Took about 4 minutes to install, and works perfectly. I went from 2.73 to 3.42, so I needed a special-order 21%. According to my GPS, I am dead-on. I think it was about $80 shipped, but it took about 2 months to arrive.

Re: Where to buy speedo gears?
Seem OK to me... I can put em in a "shopping cart"... they're OOS on 208 gears right below, and the used high-ratio housings right above.
Might be worthwhile to give em a call; or, to find other gears with a ratio as close as practical to 40/15. After all, it's a "measure with micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with axe" kind of thing; the difference in tire diameter due to pressure change from cold to hot, or the effect of tread wear, will have as much IF NOT MORE effect on speedo accuracy as one whole tooth on the driven gear (2½%).

Re: Where to buy speedo gears?
Tried to call they were closed already will try again tomorrow. I also am going from 2.73 to 3.42s. Hate to put a ton of money into it since a 5.3/4l60e swap it in the near future but I also want my speed and odometer right for the time being. Originally was gona order the parts from gmpartsdirect found them went through ordering process and for two $4.50 parts they tried to charge me $400 shipping lol. I emailed them twice and no reply yet. Talked to the Flow dealership and they said it pretty much has to be a misprint.
