Stock W/C T-5 + 350 TPI

I'm wanting to pull my 305 TBI and swap it for a 350 TPI (300-325 hp). Wondering if the World Class will hold up, I don't plan on being too rough with it but I know they don't have the best reputation..

my carbed 350 has about 350 hp and i have a rebuilt T5 WC behind it. Its held up fine now for 15000 miles, about 1.5 years of daily driving. It depends on how much your car weighs. More weight will be more strain on the drivetrain. Im at about 3000 lbs without a driver

Mine does good with a modified L98. The 3:08 gear was too high though. I have a 3:27 in it now and it's much better.

That's some of it, but a lot of it has to do with how you drive it. In a mild DD build it's probably fine, but you're still pushing it. Doesn't take much, heh.

do a search on the boards. that has to be one of the top 10 most frequently asked questions and you get a big mix of answers each time you ask it too!

Mines held up well! I don't do clutch dumps and I do lift throttle in between shifts. Should hold up just fine for ya!

Re: Stock W/C T-5 + 350 TPI

i do numerous clutch dumps and quarter mile runs. alot of burnouts too. pushing 350hp. 15,000 miles on a rebuilt T5 WC paid 600 for the rebuild
