t56 clutch issue

I having an issue with clutch engament on my t56. I recently did a conversion on a l98 auto to a t56 pull style clutch. I put a new stage 2 competion clutch and it engages really high ,right at the end of the pedale. I remember reading a post that by changing the slave you can bring engament point down. I think the slave was off of a 88 cutlas cali. Can I use a adjustibale master slave from tick performance to accomplish the same thing?

Re: t56 clutch issue

there are multiple threads on this matter. some people opt for the adjustable master while others opt to use the cavalier slave as you mentioned. my preference was to use the cavalier slave and be done with with but the chioce is yours to make

Thank you for the info. If I go the 88 cavalier route how can you bleed the slave? Its just the slave you change right not the Master. The master stays stock 4th gen?

Also was anyone try the McLeod adjustiable master?

Will this even fit a 3rd gen, looks pretty big.

I dont know about that one, but I know the Tick one fits, and they may be the same part.
