Newbie with 92 and 7004 issues

So first post about new to me 92 305 tpi 700r4. Sold to me as stone stock and it sure appeared to be. So replaced original cap, rotor, coil, plugs, fuel filter, air filter, and wires - cured slight miss. Still had annoying fish pull under light load in 4th, and would flare 2-300 rpm when giving throttle from cruising in 4th in overdrive like it wanted to shift ? So replaced fuel injectors trying to remove the fish pull and installed stage 1 B&M shift kit with new filter for a firmer shift. Neither fixed the issues. Noticed excessive pulsing of fuel lines and had a noisy pump so replaced fuel pump and pulsation compensator in hopes of solving fish pull no dice. Tried adjusting TV cable - noticed it is aftermarket ??? as it doesn't have a D shaped button to adjust but is plastic and square ? So whats the deal with the sudden increase in rpm every time I get back on the throttle. It jumps 2-300 rpm and then back into gear ? Shift points seem ok other than on a hill it will shift down and then shift up again to soon requiring it to again shift down. I have been learning about the corvette solenoid - will it help my problem ? Really can't swing the $ for a trans after just getting the car - any help is appreciated.

That's the tq converter locking and unlocking. Sounds normal.

Yes, that's the converter unlocking.
Some are a little more sensitive to throttle input than others.

it was suggested to me that the switch inside the pan that controlls lock up may be toast - any reason to believe that ???

If it was toast, it wouldn't lock or unlock.

No.

Make a phone call to Dana, he knows more than I ever will. He may take a few days to get back to you.

Don't be surprised if it takes a few weeks for an answer if you go through the forum.

This isn't a knock on Pro-Built. It's just the way it is at times.
