Took the cover off of a 9 bolt I picked up. Not good!

Took the cover off of a 9 bolt I picked up. Not good!

The cones are against the housing. I'm thinking it won't be usable but was hoping someone with experience would chime in.

Yea, that one is worn out, but it can be reconditioned. I've done a few of them myself. It's pretty easy if you have a lathe.

You are about 2 1/2 hours away from me. My daughter is living in Lexington right now and my wife just left this morning to go up there for 2 days.
