700R4 or 4L60 Question
Hello all, I have been gathering up much needed info on these trans for a lockup method and the understanding of OD's.
Here is my question. somewhere in what I have been reading someone said he is using a " Manual Body ". Can someone enlighten me on that "Manual Body" thing. thanks

A manual valve body causes the transmission to go into the gear that the shift selector position is in.
Need to be sure to start in 1st, then manually shift to each gear. Not fun on the street unless you like to shift. Start in 3rd and it usually takes out the 3/4 clutch pack.
