tilton adjustable master with hydraulic release bearing adjustment
hey guys, i'm trying to run this through my head and i think i know the answer but need confirmation
i'm using a tilton 6000 hydraulic release bearing and have just installed a
hawks/tilton adjustable master cylinder.
the instructions for the release bearing say it needs a pedal stop to prevent over extending the release bearing.
if i'm adjusting the master cylinder to just release with around 1/4" more movement. would this mean that i don't need the pedal stop as i adjusted the master to not throw more then what's needed to release the clutch?

Yes, you need a pedal back-stop so to never bottom the piston in the clutch master cylinder. The Tilton has 1 inch of stroke.
Furthermore, adjust the pedal height to not over stroke the clutch. You can figure out where is clutch release by lifting the rear tires off the ground and having a person try to turn the tires. The tires will turn when the clutch releases.

I figured I was going to need to figure something out soon. Any ideas on how/where to put one? I thought about drilling/tapping a hole in the part pointing to an arrow. I could then attach a bolt and a few nuts. Then I would still be able to utilize the safety switch but would need to remove the cruise disengagement switch. Maybe the pad at the base? However, I'm pretty sure I'll probably need to space out my safety switch so it fully engages.

Confused and relieved at the same time.
I also have an adjustable master and had planned to wait until I set everything up to see if I need to make any adjustments or add any additional pedal stop modifications.
