TH 700 R4 driving with the TCC on

I'm wondering whether there is any damage done to the 700R4 by driving with the TC clutch on?
I installed a manual TCC switch when I put a carb on my engine. and it hasn't happened many times, but there have been a few times when I made the mistake of driving in stop/go traffic with the TCC switch on.
The kit I installed has a disconnect when the brakes are on, but still it goes on as soon as the brakes are released.
So far my trans still works. But I'm wondering what damage I may have done.

Thanks - As always

Normally, TCC Lockup occurs around 36-40 mph. If yours is operated by the brake pedal switch only, your TC is locking/unlocking constantly during your low speed stop and go traffic....which can't be good for it.
In your case, I would rewire a toggle switch and MANUALLY switch it on when out of stop and go traffic.

Re: TH 700 R4 driving with the TCC on

I do have a manual switch
It's easy to forget to switch it off
My trans still works, but I have to wonder what parts of the trans are damaged by operating in traffic with the TCC switch on?
I have resolved to install a big warning light to indicate when the TCC is on
