700R4 No Overdrive?

My Camaro has a 700R4 trans with a electronic lockup, I have no overdrive in it due to no ECM. (PO removed TPI and went carbed SBC with mechanical fuel system). There isnt a ECM in the car, that being said how can I get 4th gear without the ECM?

Toggle switch, or tci makes a lockup kit.

So all I have to do is run power wire from batt to plug in on trans with a switch?

Re: 700R4 No Overdrive?

The electronics control lockup only. This has nothing to do with not having overdrive. You will have to install a 0-300 psi. gauge on this to get the readings on what pressure you have to see what is going on here.
