VSS driven gear help
Anyone on here know what tooth count this orange driven gear is? I saw that it might be a 37 tooth from a different site but when i look up 37 tooth driven gears for this vss, they’re all red.

Make a pen mark on one tooth and start counting. Not that hard looks faded so hard to tell if orange or yellow or whatever

Re: VSS driven gear help
When you count,... turn the gear on it's side. It's easy to mess up the count if you try counting from the "top".
Some gears actually show the tooth count on the side of the teeth,..... a magnifying glass will help !

I'm going to guess it's a 35-tooth (orange) and that your rear gear is a 2.77.

I figured it out ya guys thanks for the info and help. It is a 35 tooth after i counted. The rear end has 3.55s as it was swapped before I bought it. I making my own new gauge cluster for it and swapping to a cable speed sensor setup and need to know what the stock driven gear was. Thanks again.
