Clutch Master & Slave Cylinder
My Slave Cylinder went bad. I can buy one from Rock auto, but not sure how do I connect old rubber hose/tube to new one. Do the original one installed as one unit comprising of master and slave. If I install a new master and slave, how do I connect/bleed them together. Rock auto not showing any hose between them.
Re: Clutch Master & Slave Cylinder
There is a small roll pin that holds the tube to the slave cylinder as I recall... Just push it out and the tube pops free...
There are procedures around for bleeding. As I recall it's mostly working the slave cylinder by hand. Do a search for it.
I swapped both slave and master at separate times and it was pretty easy.

That means if I have a new Master and Slave, I can reuse the same hose.
