Changing pan on 700r4

Changing pan on 700r4, and I keep seeing that I need to drain then add fluid in sequence based on how often the fluid has be changed. I have no idea how often it has been changed considering I bought the car from someone that had it for a number of years they couldn't recall. Even moreover the previous owner wasn't the one who did the swap. Any info is greatly appreciated. Also I will note the fluid on the dipstick has no discoloration or abnormal smell.

I don't know what you mean by "in sequence". Just fill it with fresh ATF after the old stuff drains out and the pan is reinstalled...

Re: Changing pan on 700r4

I am really sorry, but these types of Posts just kill me!

What is the Year, Make and Model of the Vehicle?
What "Swap" took place?
What was swapped, and why?
Swapped from what to what?
What is the Transmission Oil Pan being changed to?
If the Transmission Oil Pan is being replaced (due to damage or something else), the old ATF might be reusable.
If this Post is about ATF Maintenance... Is this regarding a Flush or a Drain and Fill?
Is there a New ATF Filter?

I am somewhat forgiving that Younger People were not as well educated as previous generations in regard to punctuation and sentence structure...
But can we at the very least have some appropriate information in order to try and answer the questions asked?

It's a 86 camaro.
Engine and Transmission. Not sure what out of.
As to why it was swapped, again i bought it this way..
Changing the pan to one off of amazon. The reason being is the pan thats on the car is dented and leaking.
ThE pan is the reason for the post.
I was asking do I need to flush the fluid or simply add back to it.

And I agree my punctuation and sentence structure are sub par but, I don't believe if it were to be better you'd be any better at reading comprehension.
thanks in advance...

Thanks tl. I wasn't sure if a flush was needed or if I could just add back to it. I was reading if the fluid hasn't been changed that it eats away at the clutches in the trans and by changing it, it may start slipping.
