I have 3.27's now, but they aren't low enough to get me into my power band quick off the line. Would 4.10's be to much gear or should I just go with the 3.70's. I don't drive the car everyday so gas milage isn't to important. If you have them or have had them what did you think about them?

Need more info, what tire size are you running and/or rpm you currently cross the finish line at. More than likely 4.10's will be too deep to launch with, unless you are running a really tall tire--since you have the 700R4.

Those are really short tires, 25.6". With the 700R4's deep first gear I'd say don't go any more than the 3.70 gears unless you get a taller tire.
When I had my SBC, 3.27 gears, 26" tall tires and TH350, I was shifting at 6600 and crossing the finish line at around 5000. I was also running high 11's. 3.90 gears for me would have been perfect but the next season I went to 28" tall tires and 4.10 gears and crossed the finish line just as the shift light came on.
