So your wanting that 2-3 MPG back huh?... hell I pay 1.50 for gas and I was almost dry and I only spent 20.00 on the fill up. Today even. I would get better MPG but I am also running 4Lb Hr bigger injectors. 19 instead of 15...

hey Camaro_hunter_d how much do you i could get for the camaro there is a link at the top of the page were i started talking about the chip. i was thinking about $3500.00. its a 1992 v6 rs with 140,000 miles.cold a/c and heater. it has a K&N airfilter flowmaster exhaust, crane ignition, jet power pulleys, shift kit and a 3:73. and does have a system in it to it has a alpine cd player, mtx 4x6, jensen 6x9, two jl audio 10w3 and a rockford fosgate bd500 amp, and a 5.6 tv monitor in it to if i ask that price for the car i am still lossing my *** on this car because so far spent about $5,000 on it already. it also has a jamex strut bar and tokico front struts and kyb agx's in the back and a cowl hood and fiber glass fenders but not put on yet they are sitting in my dads garage. tell me what you think.

$3500? For a V6? Something tells me you're going to have that car for a very long long long time. Around here 90-92 V6 cars run int he neighborhood of $1000-2000 tops.

what ever man think what you want to think i will get the money for that car. i sold a 1990 eagle talon for $1500 and it was in horrible shape. it smoked real bad and had no a/c. so every body that dawgs the v6 screw you becuase they handle alot better than the v8's. i smoke 305 all the time. people that sell the camaro in auto trader ask in between $4500-$7000

I would definately yank the TV out... you'd probably get more what it's worth from eBay!

I think $3500 is do-able... ask $4k, then you can drop it. And if they don't care about the system, tell 'em you'll pull it all, and drop the price $200. Around here, a V6 f-body in decent condition goes for about $2500, and that's stock. If yours is in good shape, it'll probably go for a good price.

Up here V8 prices are dirt cheap....they are also beat to sh it!! You look in the classifieds, and alot of times the v6's are just more expensive. I know when I was looking I wasn't gonna settle for anything less than a GTA.....but they were all destroyed. If its in good shape I think you can pull a good amount of money. With "140,000" miles though on the original motor and tranny (not sure???) it will be tough!!! That alone I don't think will warrant 4,000. I have been contimplating selling mine, but decided to KEEP it for another year and if i were i was looking at around 4200 with 105,000 on the clock. Good luck, but v6's can pull in more money than 8's sometimes.

PS....the chip WILL make the car easier to sell.

I did check it out; it looks nice, but ya never know with pictures, no offense. And the chip might make it harder to sell, or, not make a difference at all. Personally, if I was buying a Firebird, I wouldn't care what previous mods the owner had done- including a sound system, since I'd be planning to put my own stuff in. So if I was to buy this, and redRS92 told me it had a Jet chip in it, I'd shrug, and tell him all I care about is how good the drivetrain and body and interior is. (Again, no offense meant, it's just how I'd buy a car.) Altho, for the same reasons, I wouldn't look at the car to buy anyway, since someone already modded it. Where's the fun in that?

Tell ya what, you go ahead and try and sell it, if you get more than $2000 out of it, you let us know. Around here $4,000 will buy a relatively clean 93-95 Z28, or Formula... The used car market is totally blown to hell right now, and it has been for a year. 0% interest on loans and leasing have made selling a good used car difficult at best. The only way they sell is if you're a carlot with name recognition, advertising, and an established customer base, or if you cut the price back and find someone that wants exactly what you have.

Dude. Thats nuts. 4000 can buy a 93-95. I can't beleive it. Although what you said makes sense. Time to move across the border.

3500 I think sounds good for what it looks like. I think your car looks pretty bad a$$! See, if someone who doesn't know much about cars saw that, they would buy it in a flash! I know if I was 16 again and I just got my license, I would buy it! Does it come with the rims and everything? If nobody bites for the car, you could part it out and I guarantee you'll get the money you are looking for.
