what temp are u taling about

ur engine temp - then ur temp sender is porbbly shot..tomp knows the replacement part number ask him
also A/c increases engine temp never does it reduce the temp...
as more load on the engine = more heat

if its ur body temp ....then i cant answer this one

i remember mine used to do that too... remove the sender unit on the drivers side head behind the A/c and replaced the sender and it should be fine...

mostly its ur sender unit that goes out...

i replaced mine with a mechanical gauge ...the sender unit there now houses my mechanical gauge sender unit ..the mechanical gauge is more relaible and reads temp even after i swithc the engine off since its all mechanical...
i eventually put in the electrical sender unit on the other side in the line going from the waterpump to heater valve..

either way replace the sender unit first wait for the car too cool down and then remove the sender unit and replace it ..its about 7 bucks from autozone and remember to use some liquid gasket / copper gasket (i donno if u can use teflon tape since the unit needs to be grounded) to seal the new sender....

for 4th gens, turning the A\C on automatically turns on the electric radiator fan. some peeps use this trick to keep the engines cool before they get to the staging line. might be the same for 3rd gens with electric radiator fans???

yeah thats possible too

ur fan might not be turning on on its own

when ur car runs hotter than 200*f

see if the fan comes on
if yes then its the sending unit

otherwise its ur fan

(i completely forgot the fan part..my fan is wired to a switch....)

The same is for our 3rd gens as well. When you turn your ac on the fan is suppose to stay on until you turn off the ac.
