It seems to me these message boards are classifieds for you too, but actually I have the item, and they are hooker and they still have the paper labeling on them so they are new. I know I shouldn't post here, but your broke *** is just worried that these will take business away from you. Oh yeah, unlike yours these are tuned by the factory and actually work..... unlike yours. Peace

Oh yeah I forgot your the one that made the stick about me getting the headers off ebay.. Loser. If you did not want the headers why did you buy them?.

And no the message boards are not classifieds for me, I asked 'Clock to make the thread on the headers a sticky cause it seemed everyonther week someone was starting a thread about them, this way there is only one thread and less spaced taken up on the server, and everyone can get the same information.

Mine my not be tuned from a factory, but you can ask Dead, they work, he has a set. And unlike you I am doing something for the board. And I am not concerned about 1 set of Hedmans, that BTW are NOT SMOG'D while mine will be.

Continue to act like a child. while this thread gets locked.

Hold on a second, I'm not done acting like a child. I'm selling the headers because I would rather put my money towards my winter car, I have to pay it off.

I didn't make a stink, you must of dropped alot of cash for those headers so you must feel like an ***!

Secondly, people if you want headers from this guy give him the money and he'll make them for you 8 months later!! Hunter you got way over your head in this header stuff. I thought maybe you could pull it off before, but now I realize that you cant do it.

By the way live up to your promise and dont post anymore like you said before. Please, do us all a favor.

I know I dont contribute much, but making your bogus operation look as ****ty as it is gives me pride in my contribution.
Turbo...Sure, 4.3....Oh Yeah, whats next a dodge viper engine in a 3.1 firebird. Sure we all have dreams hunter, but most of ours involve making alot of money, getting through college, and having a playboy playmate as a wife. Obviously yours involve necked out cars and grease. YIKES!!!! Stay away from the rest of us and go hide in that junkyard that you call your front lawn.

i am still fairly new at this forum but i have learned that what camaro hunter has to say is not only true, but very useful. why must we fight? i thought that the purpose of this forum was to help each other out, bon jovi, if you had read the other header deal by hunter then you would know that he has a hard time finding collectors for his headers, and hunter, the headers he is talking about are hooker, not hedman's, seems that your both in the wrong on this one. i enjoy this message board and have learned more in the past week about my v6 f-body then the whole year and a half that i have owned it.

Yeah, the internet, along with this website, has made it much easier to dig up stuff about the 2.8/3.1 V6's, and even 82-92 thirdgens in general!

Lets not forget that the Pacesetter 3.4 headers for a 93-94 Camaro will fit the motor, just not the engine bay. Hunter, why not modify those headers (like 3.1Firebird did for his car) to fit the 3rd gen engine bay? Seems like a lot less work. It'd be more, though, to buy the 3.4 headers ($180), and then charge your own $$ for your labor, but I think you'd get a set done faster.

the way I have things set up now is I can make them just fine. I am waiting for another 1" drill bit to come in so I can start drilling the holes for the EGR mounting flange.

The problem I have now is the company I am dealing with takes there sweet *** time getting me the collectors. And the only other place is in Austrailia that I have found that advertises on the net so...

Tom, I though about that, but to do that I would need to go out and spend another 2-250 on the tourch W/Kit/ tanks. And I think the $260+ price it would probly come out to would be more than most would want to spend.
Thats why I am making these. After I get recouped from my current 14-1500 investment and get some more stashed I am looking at a $2K bender(OUCH!) that will allow me to do just about anything.

"I didn't make a stink, you must of dropped alot of cash for those headers so you must feel like an ***!"

No you made quite a deal about it as I recall.

"Secondly, people if you want headers from this guy give him the money and he'll make them for you 8 months later!! Hunter you got way over your head in this header stuff. I thought maybe you could pull it off before, but now I realize that you cant do it."

Again now that I have what I need, and even have posted pics, and sent out a set, your just cring lke a baby. I can have a set ready in 2 days, given I have the collectors.

"By the way live up to your promise and dont post anymore like you said before. Please, do us all a favor.

I took a hiadious. I got back into posting by 89CamaroRS. He got me back on the boards. And yes your right, you contribute barely anything at all to the boards. Meanwhile as others have said I contribute alot.

"Turbo...Sure, 4.3....Oh Yeah, whats next a dodge viper engine in a 3.1 firebird. Sure we all have dreams hunter, but most of ours involve making alot of money, getting through college"

Currently I am working on
1. The headers
2. I 400 small block rebuild
3. just about rebuilding my 91 T Top
4. tring to get the parts for my turbo/gone Centrifugal S/C
5. Full time College
6. Part time job.
7. care for too many damn pets, 3 turtles, 2 fish tanks w/10 fish that constantly have problems
8. Dealing with people like you.

And Just FYI I do not have a Firebird, I have 2 Camaro's.

I think I have enough to deal with. My time is extremely limited. But yet I still find time to come here and HELP.

"YIKES!!!! Stay away from the rest of us and go hide in that junkyard that you call your front lawn."

My front yard is quite clean. My Cars/Parts are in the back by the garage and shed.

Stop looking at the lot your trailer is parked in!

do the hooker headers bolt up to the stock exhaust system, or do I need a new Y-pipe?

Not only a Y pipe, but a reducer to the cat, and you need the guy to weld in an O2 fitting. You(or the person you pay) will also need to drill a 1" hole in the #3 tube to mount a EGR flange so your EGR will work.
