Car: 1991 Corvette Coupe
Engine: L98
Transmission: 700R4/4L60 same trans different name
i bought my car with a hi-flow cat and then added a flowmaster muffler

sounds pretty nice, and fools most people into thinking its a V8

(unless your next to a V8 car, then you can obviuosly tell the difference)

i kinda feel some power out of my V6...............its faster than say a hyundai or a honda civic.................but most of the buicks i drive at work would probably put it to shame

the ideal set-up:

CHC's Header's & Y-pipe (Camaro_hunter_c, not finieshed, you can order a set if you dont have to worry about emmisions)

Catco or Dynomax Hirh Flow Cat, My old one was bad, so i defiantly saw a difference, but i don't know how much you'll see... better than gutting it thats for sure, in fact if you gutt, you actually loose power...

Dynomax Cat-back, mandrel bent and only $160 bucks, what more could ya ask for ??? Great idle, my next power mod after i finish my current projects

exhuast cut-outs on a v6, i dont think so :nono: :nono: :nono:

Hey Stuart where did you find that Dynomax for that price? Cause thats exactly what I want when I get my headers from CHC. I got a buddy that's making me a off road Y-pipe when I get my headers.

Summit has them for $156 and it came out to 172? 162 total for shipping/handling. TIP ON INSTALL OF THOSE, undo your shocks and the 3 bolts of the upper track bar on the drivers side frame. the rear end will drop 6 inches!. Mine came with a new rear section mount and the drivers side pipe uses the factory mount.

try summitracing.com, don't go to jegs, they arn't as good. If you purchase it, remember that if they try to make you pay oversize shipping, tell them that a lot of people on thirdgen.org didn't have to pay. They should drop the oversize charge. It is always best to call in your order instead of using the site.
